Getting Ready For Show

Next month I will be showing at The Center On Halsted. A LBGT center, they do lost of stuff but they also have a small gallery space. I went to my friends show and met the curator, we talked and wanted to show my work. So now we are working out all the kinks and I am lining up the goods. I have all the work picked out, all that is left is to do some touch ups, frame 17 pieces, and put hangers in the 15 paintings....not too much....
Each painting will be flanked by my magazine pieces that I posted in the past. Here are some of the paintings that I will be showing.

oil paintings from this semester in no particular order from Advanced Painting class at SAIC, some are better then others but they are all mine. they all have their own story and reason why I wanted to paint them, but I look around me in the world and see paintings all over the place so one day I decided to start photographing them and painting them.

Getting My Foot In.

As I said last week I have a display at the wonderful Royal Flesh Tattoo4005 N. Broadway Chicago,IL 60613-2110 Phone: (773) 975-9753. 

They have let me show my jewelry in their shop for consignment. 

On August 7th, they will be throwing a party, free touch ups, drunks, BBQ, music, people, raffles for free tatts and piecing, cloths, and more.
